Dad bods are real … A new study has revealed that men gain weight after getting married. According to researchers, married men have a higher Body Mass Index (BMI) than single men and are about three pounds heavier. The study found that the early days of fatherhood can cause men to pack on the pounds as well. (University of Bath)

Bling isn’t their thing … A new survey has found that Millennials aren’t willing to spend big bucks on an engagement ring. 31% of “older Millennials,” between the ages of 27 and 36, said you shouldn’t spend more than one month’s salary on a ring. 10% said you should spend less than one-month’s salary. And 3% said they wouldn’t spend any money for a ring and didn’t believe in engagement rings. (CNBC)

Do you have the August blues? You’re not alone. Seems August is a downer for many people because it signals that summer is ending. For some, that means the end of summer fun. For others, it makes them aware that summer is almost over and they didn’t go on vacation or do any of the fun things their friends posted about on social media.
