Best places to go for dessert in Amarillo, Texas.

If you’re like me, every Saturday night around 9 p.m. you get a hankering for something sweet. What do you do? Grab the kids and hit the road, right? Where do you go? I have so many questions and so little answers. Luckily, I’ve found a list of the best places to go for dessert in Amarillo.

If your favorite place for dessert didn’t make the list, please include it so that we can all go out and enjoy some tasty treats.

If you’re familiar with marketing, the best way to get your product out to the public is by word of mouth. Yelp, a website that suggests restaurants and places to go based on customer reviews, is really good about helping businesses grown their brand with word of mouth marketing. When’s the last time you searched for a business using the yellow pages? Do they even still make phone books? I think they do. What I’m getting at is that businesses need to have their product on line and easily accessible for other to learn about their services. That’s where Yelp comes into play.

Yelp has a list of the the best places in town to visit if you have a sweet tooth. Remember, these ratings are based on people just like you. For the complete list, click here.

In no particular order, here are the best reviewed restaurants that offer desserts.

Taste Dessert Bar

The Ruffled Cup

Marble Slab Creamery

Benjamin Donuts & Bakery

El Tropico

Biti Pies

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Pizza Planet

Orange Leaf

Carries Cakes

These all sound great, but I need a place to go to get a good Cannoli. “Grab the Cannoli”, one of my favorite lines from “The Godfather.” They taste too good to leave behind.

Some honorable mentions that didn’t make the review list. I would also like to include Baskin Robbins and Duncan Doughnuts. Can’t go wrong with a chocolate cake doughnut. Also, I would include Dairy Queen into the mix. Hey, it’s Texas, you have to include Dairy Queen.
