Check out the new Thunder Rolls cover.

I’ve heard a lot of covers in my day, but nothing like the new “Thunder Rolls” cover.

I’ve noticed that a lot of rock bands like to put their own twist on some pretty notable songs. For example, during the holidays, you can hear a metal cover of, “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch.” To be honest, it’s pretty cool!

This isn’t your first country song turned into a hybrid musical concoction. If you remember, John Michael Montgomery’s “I Swear,” a few months following that release, a boy band named All-4-One took it and got rich from singing it. It was literally, the only song that they had, and it wasn’t even theirs!

I’m not sure how I feel about cover songs now that I really get to thinking about it. This one is weird. What do you think?
