The New York Giants did it again. This time the Dallas Cowboys can not win it ugly. The Giants knocked of the Cowboys 10 – 7. Things looked good with Dak Prescott faked all the Giants out of their jocks and threw a touchdown pass to Terrance Williams. Williams was the goat that didn’t get out of bounds in the first game against the Giants when the Cowboys could have possibly kicked a game winning field goal near the end of the game. The bad news for the Cowboys came earlier in the day when we learned Lucky Whitehead would not be playing because he violated a team rule. Whitehead didn’t make the trip to New York. After the Williams touchdown it was a sad day for the Cowboys offense because they wouldn’t score again. The Cowboys went to the locker room up 7-0 on the Giants. It was obvious the Giants game plan was to make Prescott beat them with his arm. The Giants used the Blitz, blitz, blitz. The Cowboys also did that to Eli Manning and on one play he hit Odell Beckham Jr.in stride for a long catch and run for a touchdown. To me play calling in the second half left something to be desired. The Cowboys were trapped in terrible field position much of the half thanks to former Cowboys special teamer & now Giant Dwayne Harris. With the loss the Cowboys fell to 11-2. In my humble opinion Tony Romo wins that game. But I think there is no need to play him at this time. Prescott has to go through some growing pains and will learn what he needs to do with some coaching and film work. To me it is best to lose in December on a Sunday night rather then on a Sunday evening in February. After losing the first meeting with the Giants to open the season the Cowboys went on an eleven game winning streak. If they can do that again that means the Cowboys have won another Super Bowl and are off to a great start in 2017 and one of the favorites for the next Super Bowl.
