A woman in Canada has been reunited with her missing garden gnome. The gnome went missing eight months ago. It was returned earlier this week along with a photo book showing the adventures he’s been on. The gnome was named Leopold by the ones responsible for taking it. Bev York, owner of the gnome, found her missing gnome in a plastic bag along with the hard cover book. York said the first entry in the book read “I saw a motor home toddle along…and I thought to myself, ‘there’s got to be more to life than standing knee-deep in rain water, being peed on by the neighborhood dogs and staring at the same view every single day’ so I hopped on.” Other entries revealed the gnome had traveled to places like Grand Canyon, Washington & Mexico. The only clue to who may have taken the gnome is a few pictures of a little boy with Leopold. York says she does not recognize the boy. The next time the gnome goes on an adventure York wants to go too. So would I.
