Guy edits Wikipedia page to gain entry backstage to his favorite band.

How awesome would it be to go backstage to one of your favorite bands? Do they even sell backstage passes anymore? Having worked radio for 14 years, I haven’t heard of backstage passes for sale in a long time. A long time ago, I was in a contest to win backstage passes to one of my favorite bands, Disturbed. Unfortunately, I didn’t win the contest. However, I did get to go backstage and meet George Strait in Lubbock back in 2008. If I were smart, I would have done what David Spargo of Melbourne Australia did. Right before the show started, David pulled out his cell phone and made a quick edit to the bands Wikipedia page. He put himself as a family member to one of the band members. When security began to ask him who he was, he pulled out his phone and showed the security guard. Hey, if it’s on the internet it has to be true, right? The security guard bought it and David was on his way. Sure it was deceitful, but it was also genius! Somebody buy this guy a beer for his creativity and quick wit. Cheers mate! You deserve to be backstage by pulling a stunt like that.
