The new Joker is making his rounds promoting his up and coming film, “Suicide Squad.” One way he’s talking up his new film, is by appearing on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. On Monday night, they sat down to face each other in friendly game of trivia. What’s up for grabs? Well, whenever you get a right answer, you get to cuddle a puppy. Pretty soft image for a guy who’s playing a deranged psycho path. Regardless, this is worth a watch.
Is there anything Jared Leto can’t do? I don’t think there is. He’s proven himself to be an incredible musician with his band, “30 Seconds to Mars.” Along with winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting role in, “Dallas Buyer’s Club.” From the looks of it, he’s done the impossible, he’s pulled off playing the Joker. Remember what your reaction was when you heard that Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker? It was probably something along the lines like, “Eh, really?” Then you watched the movie and he blew you away! Based on what I’ve been reading, it’s looking like we’ll all have the same response when we see Jared Leto on screen as Batman’s mortal enemy, “The Joker.” More good news regarding “Suicide Squad,” Batman makes and appearance to keep the Joker in line. If not him, who else, friends?
More good news regarding, Jared Leto. In a recent interview, Jared talked about his Joker being the villain in Ben Affleck’s upcoming Batman film. You know, technically, based on the ending of, “The Dark Knight,” the Joker is still alive. Now I’m wondering on whether or not Jared Leto’s The Joker character, will be referenced in the upcoming, “Justice League” picture? Especially if The Joker is supposed to be the villain in Ben Affleck’s Batman film.
In addition to the Joker, you’ll also see other awesome Batman villains, including “Killer Croc,” “Harley Quinn,” and “Deadshot,”
“Suicide Squad” is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 2 hour and 10 minutes. Click here to check out the trailer for “Suicide Squad.”
