Most memorable moment in radio: 1. In 1964 the V.P. of ABC Radio offered me a job to be staff announcer for the radio network in New York, (I turned him down, I didn't want to live in New York). 2. I was offered a job to replace Wayon Jenning at KLLL in Lubbock when he went back to Nashville, (I turned it down). It seems I said NO too many times.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where & why: The prettiest place on Earth, Palo Duro Canyon, and sing around the camp fire roasting winnies & marshmellows.
If I didn't work in radio I would be: SAD.
