Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is being sued by a man claiming he was hurt because he was scared by a life sized mannequin in his room. The man says he walked into his room while the lights were off and saw what he thought was a person in his room. He apparently turned and ran and injured himself. Planet Hollywood says the mannequin was part of the room’s decor. The mannequin was wearing a Miller Lite racing suit and was behind a glass display. The man says that that is dangerous inside a dark room without any warning. The man is seeking $10,000 in damages for physical injuries and emotional distress. Reminds me of the Richard Pryor joke about walking in the woods seeing a snake turning and running smack dab into a tree. SNAKE! POW!
Speaking of snakes a man in Florida found a three foot eastern diamond rattlesnake in the middle of the road and decided to catch it and take it home. When some of his friends stopped by he decided to kiss the snake. The snake bit his tongue drawing blood. The man was given some anti-venom and went to the hospital. The snake escaped. An animal control officer says the unusually hot weather has caused snakes to come out. He warns people not to approach snakes adding “Snakes don’t want to have anything to do with you, as much as you don’t want to have to do anything with them.”
