For all of you superhero fans, the new wolverine movie trailer has been released and to say the very least, it’s unusual. After watching the preview, the only thing I know what to say is, what’s happened with Logan? Logan looks like he’s given up all hope for peace and happiness. I’m not sure if you had to have seen the last Wolverine movie in order to follow a long with what’s happening in the new film. It looks like that might be the case. And yes, you guessed it, I haven’t seen the most recent Wolverine film. It doesn’t look like you need to have seen the last Wolverine film in order to follow along with what has happened. Again, based on the preview, it looks like all hope and progress that mutants have made has been lost. Until Logan finds out that he’s a father, possibly? Which could then give him the strength and motivation he needs to get back into the game.
Also, I thought Professor X was a goner? Didn’t Jean Grey disintegrate Professor X a few movies back? Or, is this one of those prequels? If something bad happens to a character in the X-Men movies, will that carry over to these individual films being made about different characters? I know, way too many questions. If anything, it looks like the film might take place several years into the future. Similar to what we’ve seen with the new Star Wars franchise. We’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, since you’re bored at work, watch the preview. If you know anything about Wolverine, I would love a quick history lesson.
The film is titled, “Logan” and will hit theaters on March 3rd. For more on “Logan,” click here.
Here’s a plot summary according to IMDB.com.
“Set in the future, Logan and Professor Charles Xavier must cope with the loss of the X-Men when a corporation lead by Nathaniel Essex is bent on destroying the world. With Logan’s healing abilities slowly fading away and Xavier’s Alzheimer’s forcing him to forget Logan must defeat Nathaniel Essex with the help of a young girl named Laura Kinney, a female clone of Wolverine.”
