Dierks Bentley will release his new album, “The Mountain,” on June 8th. Why’s it called “The Mountain?” Well, Dierks wrote the songs for it in Telluride last summer after he went to the bluegrass festival there. It also features a collaboration with the Brothers Osborne, and some pretty good bluegrass acts, so we should hear a little bit of that bluegrass sound from Dierks on this new project.

We’ve got some birthdays to celebrate. Vince Gill turned 61 today, and Easton Corbin is 29.

And, there should be some good performances to look forward to Sunday night at the ACM awards. Toby Keith and Blake Shelton will perform “Should’ve Been a Cowboy”, Alan Jackson and Jon Pardi will perform “Chattahoochee”, and Reba and Kelly Clarkson will perform “Does He Love You.”
