No Mo Romo?

Rumor has it no mo Romo. The Dallas Cowboys are preparing to release quarterback Tony Romo tomorrow. The Cowboys will free up a little over $5 million in cap space by releasing Romo or making a trade, which doesn’t look like it’s coming. Romo has spent his entire 14 year career with the Cowboys and has team records for passing yards (34,183) and touchdown passes (248). His salary cap number for the 2017 would have been $24.7 million. Free agent quarter back Josh McCown stopped by the Cowboys facilities and could be Dak Prescott’s backup next season. The Denver Broncos are reported to be interested in Romo. Safety Barry Church has come to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He expected to sign a contract for $6 million over four years tomorrow. The Cowboys have signed wide receiver Brice Butler to a one year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. I have always liked Romo as the Cowboys QB. There was never a good defense in Dallas to help with a playoff run. Good Luck Tony wherever you go except against the Cowboys.
