A 59-year-old woman in New Jersey was apparently angry at a cable TV worker on Monday. So, while the worker was in the lift of her company truck, the upset woman walked by and turned off the truck, leaving the cable woman stuck in the air. Her frustration cost her though. The woman’s been charged with harassment, false imprisonment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.

A fifty-one-year-old man carrying a concealed pistol was at home in Iowa, playing with his dog, Balew, on the couch. When the dog jumped up on his lap, he must have disabled the safety on the gun the guy was wearing in his belly and stepped on the trigger, because the gun went off and the bullet hit the guy in the leg. Fortunately, he was treated at the hospital and released later that day.

And, you always hear about trucks crashing when they’re carrying the strangest things. Earlier this week it was a truck that spilled chocolate all over the road, and now this: A truck crashed near Las Vegas on Tuesday while carrying $800,000 worth of dimes. State troopers called in a recovery team to collect all those dimes that were scattered all over the highway. The driver’s okay, but they didn’t say whether they managed to find all the dimes.
