Beauty’s in the Eye of the Beholder

If you’ve done your taxes already, then you understand how Denise Ekstrand of Anchorage Alaska felt when she sat down to do hers. Instead of filing, she got distracted by a drawing that her daughter Mia made when she was younger. Denise did what most people would do in her situation, she recreated Mia’s portrait of her- down to every small detail: with eyebrow outlines, over drawn lipstick and giant stick eyelashes to stay true to the original.
