A Happy Story For Yor Monday

Social Media is helping people in lots of ways right now. It’s a way to stay in touch with loved ones, it’s a news source, and it’s a great way to help people. A fifth grader in Glencoe, Missouri found that out recently.

Hannah Imig found out that her local police officers were dealing with financial issues due to the coronavirus. She wanted to donate some of her money to help them get through this tough time. Then she decided to start up a fundraiser to purchase gift cards. In just a day and a half, the picture of her handwritten note posted on her mother’s Facebook page helped collect $2400.00,!

Hannah was able to give her police department over 200 gift cards to pass out to the officers! Way to Go Hannah!
