All he wanted was a little justice and that is why a man in England fought a speeding ticket. In 2016 Richard Keedwell was given a $120 speeding ticket for going 35 mile an hour in a 30 mph zone. He decided to fight the ticket because he said the speed camera was broken. He hired a lawyer to fight the ticket and lost. So he appealed the ticket again and again. The $120 ticket wound up costing him $37,000 in court fees and lawyer fees.
Keedwell said, “I’m sick and tired at the whole system, which is steamrolling ordinary people. I regret the amount of money. I very simply wanted justice.”
Wow 5 miles per hour over the limit and he got a $120 ticket. Where is the justice?
