There’s a town in America that will find kids over 12-years-old for trick-or-treating.
Just a heads up to everyone to avoid Nofunsville, USA. Apparently, it’s located in Virginia.
Chesapeake, Virginia just passed an ordinance that will allow law enforcement to fine and potentially jail someone who is out trick-or-treating passed the age of 12. The fine could be somewhere around $100 bucks and the jail term could be as long as 6 months.
“If any person over the age of 12 years shall engage in the activity commonly known as “trick or treat” or any other activity of similar character or nature under any name whatsoever, he or she shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $100.00 or by confinement in jail for not more than six months or both.”
And, Halloween officially comes to an end at 8 pm. Anyone caught trick-or-treating passed 8 pm will be fined and jailed up to 30 days.
