Survey Ranks America’s Most Popular Christmas Cookies
You probably have family favorites that you make year after year for the Christmas season. But now OnePoll has released an official survey they conducted of 2,000 adults in the US, and America’s most popular Christmas cookie probably came as a surprise to nobody.
Chocolate chip won the cookie vote in a landslide with 40% of those polled saying they plan to bake up a batch for the holiday season.
The whole top 5 looks like this:
1. Chocolate Chip (40%)
2. Peanut Butter (26%)
3. Sugar (25%)
4. Gingerbread (21%)
5. Snickerdoodles (20%)
The survey also covered America’s favorite holiday pies, which was quite a bit closer, but Pumpkin still won out pretty easily.
The top 5 pies are:
1. Pumpkin Pie (35%)
2. Apple Pie (25%)
3. Sweet Potato (18%)
4. Cherry (17%)
5. Pecan (17%)
Although, as far as I’m concerned, as long as I get a couple pieces of pecan pie and some peanut butter cookies I’ll be a happy camper. Apple pie and gingerbread is just a bonus.
