APD Arrest Man In Avondale Street Homicide

Amarillo Police have arrested 22-year-old Dylan Black in connection with the murder of 25-year old Felita Bailey who was shot and killed early Saturday morning in the 1300 block of Avondale. Ms Bailey was shot during an after hours party that had spilled out into the street. Multiple Avondale residents said that several shots were fired. Two people with gunshot wounds were transported to a local hospital. Bailey died of her wounds in the medical center. The other person was listed in serious condition. Black was arrested Monday and charged with murder. He was booked into the Potter County Detention Center. The Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating the case.
