One of the receivers I thought the Dallas Cowboys didn’t use enough last two seasons is moving along. The Buffalo Bills have offered Cole Beasley a 4 year deal reported to be worth 29 million dollars with a little more than 14 mil guaranteed. If you read my blogs throughout the season I mentioned where are the passes to the guy that help bring along Dak Prescott his rookie season? In Prescott’s rookie season Beasley had 98 targets, 75 catches for 833 yards and 5 touchdowns. That fell to 36 receptions on 63 targets in 2017 for 314 yards and 4 touchdowns. Beasley had only 65 catches for 672 yards and three touchdowns last year. Last season with Jason Witten gone you would have thought Beasley would get more targets. Beasley showed his frustration when he said the front office pushes who they want to get the ball.
Amari Cooper played in 9 games for the Cowboys he had 76 targets, 53 catches for 725 yards and 6 touchdowns.
It looks like the Cowboys will have to draft a slot receiver in the upcoming draft or with someone already on the team.
