Carrie Underwood Nominated for Two GMA Dove Awards

Carrie Underwood is nominated for two GMA Dove Awards. The announcement came on Wednesday (August 11). Underwood’s album, “My Savior” and song, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” featuring Cece Winans were both nominated.  My Savior is up in the Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year category. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” is up for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year.

Previously Carrie Underwood was nominated in 2006 for “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” for which she won Country Recorded Song of the Year. The Dove Awards will be held on October 19th live, in-person at Lipscomb University.
