Cash Is No Longer King

Cash is no longer king if you go to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United. Starting this Friday with the MLS Atlanta
United game against Cincinnati the stadium is going cashless.

If you want to buy a ticket, merchandise or food you’ll have to use a credit card or make a mobile payment. You will be able to use cash to buy a debit card from new ATM machines at the stadium. Then you can use the debit card to make your purchases.

A team official says by using the new policy it will make purchases faster and more cost efficient. If you remember by blog before the Super Bowl the stadium has really fan friendly prices. The cost of a hot dog will drop 50 cents to just a dollar and fifty cents.
