The Dallas Cowboys were in a no win situation yesterday because heading into the game they were a 21.5 point favorite to win over the Miami Dolphins. The final score was Dallas 31, Miami 6. The Cowboys went into halftime with a 10-6 lead. The Dolphins probably should have been ahead or tied at the half in my humble opinion Miami had a touchdown that was nullified just before the half.
The Cowboys had the big head in the first half after scoring 35 points in the first half of their other two games. Before the game I didn’t think the Cowboys would cover the spread. I would have bet the game would be closer which it was in the first half. I thought it was a trap game.
Dak Prescott continued his third quarter streak of completing every pass He’s now 22-22 in the third quarter this season.
Even though the Cowboys play the Teddy Bridgewater lead Saints on Sunday night, the game won’t be a cakewalk. New Orleans beat Seattle 33-27 yesterday.
Good news is Robert Quinn should be a little more in game shape and the Cowboys will be getting Xavier Woods, Antwaun Woods and Tyrone Crawford back on the D.
