Darius Rucker recently spoke about his views of inclusivity in country music. He said, “Country music has this stigma of rebel flags and racism, and that’s changing.”I think it’s changing drastically.” He continued, “I was getting flak from my family for the music I listened to.” Darius talked about the origins of the banjo. He said, “It came over with slaves, and now it’s one of the biggest instruments in country music.
