Our Country Queen Dolly Parton has had one of the biggest careers in country music. Now, her life story and amazing career will be highlighted in a 22-page comic book, “Female Force: Dolly Parton.” Dolly is the latest inspirational female figure to get her story immortalized in a comic. Former first lady Michelle Obama, Cher, women’s rights campaigner Gloria Steinem and Mother Teresa all have installments in the “Female Force” series.

“Writing about Dolly was a joy,” writer Michael Frizell said in a statement. “Her creativity, philanthropy and humanity are legendary.” With 11 Grammy Awards, over 100 million records sold, and a laundry list of philanthropic work, this comic is sure to be as legendary as Dolly herself!
