Heads Up Space Nerds, There Will Be A Meteor Shower This Weekend

Multi-Colored Shooting Stars Will Be Part Of Sunday Meteor Shower

This Sunday will feature quite a sight in the night sky – a meteor shower with multi-colored shooting stars. The Geminid meteor shower will reach its peak on Dec. 13th, with more than 100 meteors visible every hour.  This year’s shower will be even better because it lines up with a mostly new moon that won’t give off much light. The best time to view the Geminid shower is between 8 pm and 1 am CST.

Do you have a favorite stargazing spot? Yes in my hometown in Oklahoma by the Lake!
