It looks like we might get some really cold weather this weekend. That usually means a lot of you will be headed to the grocery store so you can stock up for the few days you might be stuck at home. If you do go to the grocery store pick up just a few extra items and drop them off at Market Street. The High Plains Food Bank is doing it’s annual Together We Can Food Drive till this Saturday.
One dollar can be turned into 4 meals. Your dollar can be stretched 10 times further. If you donate $20 it has a $200 impact. The High Plains Food Bank delivers food to the 29 counties in the Texas Panhandle.
You can make a difference to someone that’s hungry in the Texas Panhandle this Christmas. The goal is to raise $200,000 and 150,000 pounds of food.
Check your cabinets if there’s something in there you want to donate drop it off in one of the barrels at Market Street at 26th & S. Georgia. $20 is 80 meals. That’s incredible. Thanks, PC
