Last week a mom named Lisa, who owns a small bakery business, cooked up a chocolate fudge sponge cake (sounds delicious!), and made it look like a roll of toilet paper with “STAY HOME” spelled out around the cake’s base. It was then auctioned off the to raise money for the local hospital. Lisa was hoping just to raise a couple hundred bucks, but had her mind blown after the 24-hour auction raised more than $2,000 for the hospital.
Lisa said, “I spent the day constantly refreshing my emails and couldn’t believe how much the total was going up by. I am so, so grateful to each and every person that has donated to such an amazing cause.”
I’m going out on a limb here, and saying that cake is a work of art.
Now this is Philanthropy in motion folks! This gal from England raised $2681 for her local hospital! I encourage those with a giving 💖 to give where you can in these challenging times. #PSSResources @LegalBeagle1215@AwayGirl100@KimberlyCantu87https://t.co/2snpDDXuLO
