Jailbird at 100

Earlier this month Ruth Bryant went to jail on her 100th birthday and was able to check it off her bucket list. Two deputies from the Person Country Sheriff’s office placed Bryant under arrest at her assisted living center on the charge of indecent exposure. They handcuffed Bryant to her walker and led her to their patrol car and placed her in the back seat and took her to the big house with the sirens and flashing lights on.

The jailbird had a mugshot taken and spent a short time in a cell before being returned to the assisted living center in an orange shirt where they had a cake waiting for her.
