Jamie Foxx Appears to Backtrack on Involvement in Spider-Man 3

Jamie Foxx had all but confirmed he was in Spider-Man 3 as Electro. He put posts up on social media, he captioned one photo, “tell Spidey let’s run it back.” He even said Electro would not be blue this time… Then the posts were deleted.

In a recent interview he appears to have switched gears. He told the interviewer, “You are absolutely right, I can not speak on it. I mean if I’m in it I’ll be so happy.” Marvel fans know they don’t mess around when it comes to keeping movie secrets. That’s led to a lot of speculation that either Jamie got the boot, or he’s still in the movie but Marvel told him to stop talking about it. Time will tell; the movie’s expected to hit theaters next year.
