The big news today is, of course, the CMA Award Nominations that were announced this morning. Check out the full list of nominees right here. The award show will air on ABC on November 14 with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood returning as hosts.

Garth Brooks announced his new album yesterday, although he didn’t care to say much about it. The grand total of what we know is this: it’s a live music album, it’s called “Triple Live,” and it’ll have 26 songs on 3 CDs.

Miranda Lambert has broken up with Evan Felker, the lead singer of the Turnpike Troubadours. They’d been dating since February. The Turnpike Troubadours dropped out of the The Bandwagon Tour, with Miranda and Little Big Town, just before it wrapped up last weekend. Miranda also recently told The Tennessean that she is “happily single.” She said, “Love is a hard road sometimes and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I’ve had some really good songs come out of it, You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts,” I believe that’s called the Taylor Swift Philosophy.

Clay Cook (from the Zac Brown Band) and his wife Brooke just had their second son, Theron last week. Clay posted a picture on Instagram, and said Mama & baby are safe & happy. Their first born, Charlie, is almost 2 now.
