Dan and Shay say they’re working hard on recording their third album, which will include their latest single, “Tequila.” They haven’t said anything about a timeline, but they’re really taking the project seriously, and said they’re focused on making sure it surpasses the bar the first two set.

A new album of songs created from Johnny Cash’s poetry, lyrics and letters, and sung by contemporary artists comes out on April 6th. It’ll be called Johnny Cash: Forever Words. Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, John Cougar Mellencamp, Rosanne Cash, Alison Krauss are just a few of the singers on the album. Check out the trailer right here.

And, Garth Brooks will be the first inductee to the newly-announced Live Music Hall of Fame. Garth was surprised by the announcement yesterday at a Q&A session in Los Angeles. He accepted, saying, “It’s a total shock and quite an honor. I don’t think an entertainer is anything without other people who allow him to do this.”
