When the Dallas Cowboys don’t play on Sunday it gives me a lot of time. Time to take care of several tasks. The first task yesterday was to stop by United Supermarket to grab a few items so I could do task number two. At United I needed carrots, celery and biscuits so I could make turkey & dumplings from Thanksgiving leftovers. I was a regular Betty Crocker. Besides turkey & dumplings I made beef enchilada skillet, I fried drumsticks, I had to freeze the wingettes because I forgot I bought the drums Wednesday. I baked two cakes, Betty Crocker of course. One cake was French vanilla and the other was lemon cake. How could I forget I made spaghetti & meat sauce. I did laundry, folded the clothes, I vacuumed the living room and I put up the Christmas tree.
I would have made beef tips and rice but I was too busy celebrating the Cowboys win on Playstation. I actually had my Google Dot play “Fly Eagles Fly” after Philadelphia lost to the Miami Dolphins. No one wants to win the NFC East. The Cowboys play this Thursday night against the Chicago Bears. I have no idea what I’ll do next Sunday. Wait a minute It’ll be Cindy’s birthday. Can you say Bingo!?
