Police in Florida arrested a 20-year-old man on Tuesday after they found three Florida box turtles, two red-foot tortoises, a skink, and a squirrel monkey in his apartment. The animals were all stolen over the course of two weeks from the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo. Police still haven’t found two box turtles and gopher tortoises they suspect he also stole.

And, last week a New Jersey State Trooper named Michael stopped Matthew, a retired officer for a window-tint violation. While they were talking they came to realize that 27 years ago, Matthew delivered Michael. See, back in ‘91, Mike’s mother was out shopping when she went into labor. She rushed back home, and her husband called 911. Well, Matthew was a rookie cop at the time, and responded to the call. And, with a doctor on the phone, Matthew successfully brought Mike into the world. After the chance encounter, Matthew invited Mike and his family over to dinner at their home, and the two families both said they were “ecstatic” about the reunion.
