Retired NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler will return to the Xfinity Series tonight at Richmond Raceway. Sadler says he is nervous and he didn’t get much sleep this week. He’ll race for Kaulig Racing tonight. Sadler is also scheduled to race in Las Vegas in September. He retired after last season and has never won at Richmond.
Jarrett Andretti will race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway when he makes his Indy Lights debut in the Freedom 100 next month fulfilling his father’s dream of racing at that track. The race is two days before the Indianapolis 500. Andretti will racing for Andretti Autosports and is the youngest racer, 26, from one of the most famous racing families in the world. His father, John announced last month that his Stage 4 colon cancer had returned. He was first diagnosed in April 2017 and launched an awareness campaign urging colonoscopies.
Stewart-Haas Racing has partnered with Toco Warranty making the company a primary sponsor of Clint Bowyer’s No. 14 Ford Mustang for four races this season and an associate sponsor for all the other races in the Cup series. Toco Warranty will be a co-primary sponsor of Tony Stewart Racing’s World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series team.
