Single Car Crash Kills Colorado Man In Donley County

Crash Near Panhandle
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a single vehicle crash in Donley County killed one person.
That crash happened Monday just after 4 p.m. about seven miles northwest of Clarendon on US 287.
30-year-old Samuel Houston of Basalt, Colorado was traveling south on US 287 when he somehow lost control of of the 2011 Lincoln MKX SUV he was driving. Houston went of the right edge of the road and into a ditch before his vehicle flipped a few times, ejecting him. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
Houston was pronounced dead at the scene.
That crash is under investigation.
