Strange News From Up North

This sounds like something that would only happen in Florida (or maybe south Texas). The New York City Sheriff’s office arrested a group of people on Staten Island Wednesday for illegal fireworks…and three dead alligators!

The police have really been cracking down on fireworks trafficking lately. Several incidents have occurred recently, including a 3-year-old being hit by a firework coming through his apartment window, and another building catching fire when one landed on the roof.

Evidently, transporting dead alligators is just as illegal as a roman candle.
