‘Home Improvement’s’ Tim Allen and Richard Karn Reunite for New Series

More than 20 years after their fictional home improvement show ended, “Tool Time” stars Tim “the Toolman” Taylor and his sidekick, Al, have reunited. The reunion of “Home Improvement” actors Tim Allen and Richard Karn is part of a new reality game show called “Assembly Required,” which premiered Tuesday on the History channel. Allen and Karn serve as hosts of the show, which features builders from across the country competing to revamp common household items.

“All of us are real close,” says Allen, who’s now 67. “I still see Richard way too much. Boy, way too much.”
