Together We Can

This week is the “Together We Can Holiday Food Drive” with the High Plains Food Bank. They have set up this week at the Market Street United on 26th & S. Georgia.

Come join the KGNC FM crew & the volunteers this week as we help those in the panhandle who are in need this holiday season. Each day they are asking for different items, but when you’re out doing your grocery shopping, grab some extra for the High Plains Food Bank. What they are always in need of are canned goods like canned veggies, canned chicken, tuna, dry rice & beans, mac and cheese, pasta, canned soups, peanut butter,  and boxed dinners.

They will, of course, take any monetary donation as well. “Nothing runs on empty.” Each dollar donation provides 5 meals!!

Today I’ll be at the Market Street United between 4pm and 5pm. Come on by with your extra canned goods & boxed items and put them in the big barrels. Monetary donations will be taken as well. Together We Can help fight hunger in the Texas Panhandle.
