United and Amigos Supermarkets in Amarillo and Lubbock are meeting the needs of elderly guests as of today. Every store now has a dedicated shopping time for shoppers older than 60 and guests who have compromised immune systems. Specialized times are, Mondays and Thursdays from the time stores open until 9a.m., per a United Supermarkets press release. Their stores will close at 10 p.m. (unless otherwise specified) so they can restock and yes, deep clean and additional enhanced cleaning and disinfection schedules followed throughout the day.
United and Amigos Supermarkets are really caring for our community at this time by taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our citizens while also providing the access to groceries, medicine and essentials we all need.
