Here’s where the term, “OK” came from.

In today’s Jason & Nancy’s viral video of the day, we take a deep look at the word, “OK.” Where did it come from and why did people start saying?

I wouldn’t call “ok” a crutch word that so many people use. It has significant meaning and is recognized all around the world. “OK” is universal for, ok.

When I think crutch words I think, like, um, you know what I mean, right, uh…words like that.

I’m sure you’ve wondered why we say “OK” or where the two-letter phrase even originated from? It actually goes all the way back to the early 1800s, and this video explains its origins.
