Fortune 500 adviser and happiness expert Annie McKee says there are three signs that indicate an employee may be burning out at work. Physical, emotional and relational. She says early warning signs include changes in eating or sleeping habits. If an employee becomes overly pessimistic or cynical they may be close to work burnout and if an employee takes work frustrations home, that could cause disputes at home. She says the best cure for burn out is to find a reliable friend to talk to. McKee also says life is too short to be miserable at work.
