World Series

The World Series begins tonight in Cleveland with the Indians taking on the Chicago Cubs. Heading into tonight’s game some fans want Milwaukee Brewers play by play announcer Bob Uecker to replace Joe Buck on the broadcast on Fox TV. More than 36 thousand people have signed a petition calling for the change. For most of the night thankfully I won’t be able to hear Buck because I’ll be league bowling tonight. I personally am not a big fan of Buck because he’s always critical of The Dallas Cowboys when they play. If I could match up the TV with the radio I would turn down the volume on Buck. Game time temperatures should be in the upper 40’s. There’s a some wagers on the series including if Cleveland Indians wins the World Series, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner will send some Illinois micro brews and a Chicago style pizza to Ohio Governor John Kasich. If the Chicago Cubs win, Kasich will receive some beer from the Great Lake’s Brewing Company and some Cleveland mustard. Cavaliers’ LeBron James says he’ll make a bet with his  former Miami teammate Dwyane Wade now with the Chicago Bulls. This World Series is the longest combined series drought in history at 176 years. Go Cubs.
