Two people have been arrested after Amarillo police stopped the car of a person accused of selling fentanyl Tuesday.

Information about a suspect reported to be selling fentanyl was given to Proactive Criminal Enforcement.

The traffic violation was worked into probable cause and the subject, 34-year-old Neal Fry, was stopped. He was wanted on local charges and was arrested.

A passenger in the vehicle, 29-year-old Mariena Morrow, was found to have a local active warrant and arrested as well. She was also in possession of drug paraphernalia.

During a search of the vehicle, 520 fentanyl pills, and 45-thousand dollars in cash were found by police.

Fry was booked into the Potter County Jail on manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, while Morrow was booked into the Randall County Jail, on her warrant and drug paraphernalia.
