Patrick Clark

I got my passion for music when we lived in Germany for 3 years when I was in the third through fifth grades. I listened to Armed Forces Radio while we lived there because we didn’t have TV because it was in German.

When it came time to decide what I was going to major in in college. I said to myself I love music so that’s what I’ll do. I attended Amarillo College & got my degree in Mass Communications. I started out at 14 KPUR when it was at I-40 & Grand where the Taco Villa is now. The only thing there at the time was the radio station and a big field. I have been at KGNC FM broadcasting to generations of listeners since 1994. I’d like to thank folks in the Texas Panhandle for having a hand in me being inducted into the Matney Mass Media Program Wall of Fame in 2019 and I was the voice of Suds and Sounds in Nazareth for 25 years. That in itself is a great story with so many memories that you’ll have to ask someone else about.

My hobbies include bowling and playing poker & hope to one day play in the World Series of Poker. That means I would have $10,000 to do nothing better with my money. Good Luck.

I’m a Dallas Cowboys fan and I watched the Cowboys last Super Bowl win in a bar in Phoenix blocks away from the stadium. Ask me about it & I’ll share my story with you.

Musically my passion is country music & I thank all my listeners in Amarillo & the Texas Panhandle for the great ride that I have.
