Country Music Star Hal Ketchum Passes Away at 67

Hal Ketchum, “Small Town Saturday Night” Singer, Dead at 67 Hal Ketchum, Grand Ole Opry member and singer-songwriter has died at the age of 67. He died peacefully in his home Monday night due to complications from dementia. His wife shared the tragic news on Facebook this morning.

With great sadness and grief, we announce Hal passed away peacefully last night at home due to complications from dementia.

Personal Story: My wife and I walked out of the backstage doors of the Grand Ol Opry with Hal after one of his performances. He was so nice, he was definitely one of the good ones and will be missed!
