The Amarillo Public Library MakerSpace team announced that it will host multiple events in March to celebrate National Craft Month, during which patrons will be able to participate in creating a collaborating mural project as well as learn about the city of Amarillo Murals.

Those wanting to participate in the collaborative mural will be able to help fill in the giant paint-by-number installation on the first floor of the Downtown Library during Spring Break, with a special coloring page available for children too young to work on the installation.

Cultivating Creativity, Mural by Numbers, Mini-Murals, and Murals and Public Art: Inspiring Communities for Generations to Come will all be programs in March. For more information on the Mural events call MarketSpace at 806-378-3094.
