April Is Child Abuse Prevention Month

The Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center reminds us all that April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. You will notice the brightly colored pinwheels on the front lawn of the Bridge in Amarillo as well as the satellite facilities in Gray, Moore and Deaf Smith counties. The pinwheels represent those children saved by the services The Bridge provides.

Among the events scheduled for this month are Go Blue Day April 12 when we are asked to flood social media with pictures of friends, family and coworkers dressed in blue. Be sure to use the tags #goblueday and #thebridgecac.

A one mile walk and run through the neighborhood of the Amarillo Bridge location is scheduled for April 27. Sign up at bridgecac.org.
