Canyon Police and Fire Looking At New Headquarters

Canyon Police and Fire are looking to expand their facilities.

And, they plan on doing this through a bond election.

City documents show that the Gold Star Trust Building, near City Hall, would be the new home of the two departments.

Both agencies would be expanding staff to address their growing need.

Canyon Commissioners have not settled on a decision but will keep up the discussion, exploring costs and possibilities, and considering floating a bond election in November or May 2025.
