Dolly Parton to Release Her First Novel in 2022

Dolly Parton is many things: singer, songwriter, actress, model, philanthrolpist, themepark owner, businesswoman, and now, novelist. The Queen of country music has teamed up with James Patterson to cowrite her first novel. Run, Rose, Run tells the story of a young woman who moves to Nashville to persue her musical dream.

Patterson described the novel as “glittering with danger and desire — a story that only America’s #1 most beloved entertainer and its #1 bestselling author could have created.”

The book will also be accompanied by an album based on the situations and characters. The novel and album will be released in March of 2022.
